About Us
Hello and Welcome to The Pantry at 51
We are a community-based shop, where not only can you enjoy a coffee and slice of cake, you can also refill on products without creating high levels of plastic waste.
Our ‘Refill Pantry’ offers a wide range of sustainable alternatives to your everyday staple items such as cereals, pasta, dried fruit, tea and coffee as well as household cleaning and beauty products. Our mission is to help the community make the switch to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle through reducing, reusing and recycling. We encourage people to come and refill containers to avoid single use packaged items. Just bring a container (or borrow some of ours) fill, weigh and pay.

Our ‘Pantry Café ’ offers a central space for the community to come in, relax and get together. Serving some of the best local coffee and tea around, homemade cakes, light bites and sweet treats. The premise behind our café was to allow our customers to 'stop & shop' in a welcoming and homely environment.

We have tried to source and sell as many locally produced items as possible and more importantly, from small independent businesses like us. From jam, honey & chutneys, bread, pastries, rapeseed oil and beauty items, we have tried to limit our carbon footprint, whilst ensuring we support like minded local businesses who share our ethos.

We are delighted to bring zero waste shopping to our local community and look forward to meeting and hopefully inspiring you all.
